Manufactured during the transition from Otto Link's New York period to the early Florida period, the "Double Ring" was beloved by a host of legendary jazz tenor players.
While its captivating tone continues to endlessly fascinate many players today, finding a piece in good condition is exceedingly rare, as these vintage mouthpieces were crafted over 70 years ago. Today, it has become a "phantom" mouthpiece, trading at premium prices of several thousand dollars.

~ A Dynamic Vintage Dark Sound ~
Drawing on our extensive experience of refacing numerous Double Rings in the past, Gottsu has meticulously analyzed every detail—from the baffle and chamber to the sidewalls—and continued development based on our accumulated CAD data.
For the material, we continue to use our highly acclaimed "Vintage Brass," completely recreating the vintage material at the elemental composition level through X-ray analysis.
Exquisitely Adding a Vintage Taste
The greatest feature of this fully renewed "Double Ring 2026" model is its "shallow and gentle throat" design, contrasting sharply with the Master model, which pursued depth to the absolute limit.
Furthermore, to eliminate the "stuffy playing feel" often associated with original Double Rings, we exquisitely added the flavor of the mid-to-late Florida Super Tone Master. The result is a glossy, fat, and "dynamic vintage dark sound" that simply makes you want to pour plenty of air into it. Additionally, by making the beak just slightly longer, we added thickness to the mid-range sound, succeeding in producing even richer overtones.
This is the crystallization of our dedication, achieved through advanced 5-axis CNC machining technology and countless prototypes. We highly recommend this piece to anyone searching for the true essence of a vintage Link, and to players who want to project a powerful, husky jazz sound with a delightful complexity.

I have had the opportunity to reface Otto Link Double Rings several times in the past. Out of all of them, there was one specific piece that was simply phenomenal. I still remember the shock I felt the very moment I blew air into it after the reface—it was like a jolt of electricity running straight through my head.
From there, I meticulously analyzed that exact piece, a journey which ultimately led me to the mouthpiece we have today. Dark, yet possessing a beautifully soft mid-range tone, it is the true embodiment of the vintage sound.
I have crafted countless mouthpieces over the years, but right now, this model is my ultimate companion.
